Random thoughts since this is obviously a blog that is posted on at random times:
#1 My new favorite book series: The Ranger's Apprentice by John Flanagan. LOVE. IT.
Yes, it's a series that is found in the Young Adult section (ie Teen Section) at my local public library, or in the children's section at the bookstore. No matter...I love it. I've read all nine books in the series and can't wait for the tenth one to come out in the spring. The books all have action, humor, drama, and NO inappropriate male/female shenanigans (so far).
The covers of the books, especially the first few, make them look like really dark and evil books. But the books are not like that AT ALL. As I walked through the Young Adult section of the library, I noticed all of the book covers on the special displays looked like that. Must be a marketing ploy to get kids interested in the books.
#2 DH and I are both reading some awesome books about marriage. He's reading Every Man's Marriage: An Every Man's Guide to Winning the Heart of a Woman by Stephen Arterburn & Fred Stoeker. I'm reading Every Woman's Marriage: Igniting the Joy and Passion You Both Desire by Shannon & Greg Ethridge. Good stuff!
#3 I had a #3, I truly did. But now I can't remember it.
And it would have blown your socks off, I'm sure.
