I'll be honest, it was a rough week. Lots of tears, lots of discipline needing to be given out, lots and lots of prayers going from this Mommy to Jesus for guidance, wisdom, clarity, and some other issues that are just between the Mommy and Jesus. Lots of self-reflection and re-evaluating was going on from the Mommy end.
Monday is a fresh start to a new week.....a week full of possibilities. A week where I'm determined to be better at this Mom thing....because this week it really wasn't a homeschooling issue, it was a mom-daughter issue. I'm going to be heavily relying on my Heavenly Father's help and guidance because I know I can't get better at this Mom thing on my own.
I told Lauren, "Sometimes it's hard growing up. And sometimes it's hard being the mom of a girl who is growing up."

Sorry it was such a rough week. I'll be praying that next week is much better. Must be something in the air. My friend here had a really bad week too.
Oh yes these weeks happen and they remind us of our need of HIM. I am sure He will show Himself to you and give you the guidance you need. I have my share of these as well, but growing is a learning process, and we parents are at a school as well, the school of parents, grace, love and reliance on the Lord.
We all have those weeks sometimes! Keep praying!
Yes, being a mommy is not for the weak at heart! Going through life with our ever-changing kids is so tough! Hang in there! God chose you for this girl!
We have had those weeks as well. I am hoping and praying that you have a calm and restful one next week.
We had a week like that last week, and this week was completely better! Don't get discouraged; it'll turn around!

I'm sorry it was a bad week. Surely next week will go better. I think we all have a "do-over" week every now and then...or at least I do!
